NATION columnist Eric Alterman (who is himself Jewish) did an article about a year ago classifying nationally syndicated columnists as either pro-Israel, anti-Israel, or neutral. Needless to say the vast majority were strongly pro-Israel (which probably means pro-Iraq attack now) Also note that Jews account for a very large proportion of these columnists . MUCH larger than their 2% share of the overall population.
Just in case anybody still wonders why the US press is so biased on Middle East issues.
