Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris hired a firm to illegally cut 57,700 mostly legal minority voters off the Florida rolls in 2000. See gregpalast.com for the story. The US media ignored the story until it was too late, believing Jeb's office's initial and dishonest denial. Gore won, and it had nothing to do with voting machines.
