Ok, now I see ... my reading comprehension slipped a gear there for a moment. <g>

Actually, a lot of people called for an end to sanctions before Saddam ... not sure if any were before the French or not, but many have remarked over the years on how the '91 UN/US sanctions killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi children in subsequent years. Bombing electricity generators and water-purification plants wasn't probably the most humane thing to do ...

I read the Red Badge of Courage once, but I don't see a lot of it in your modern military, where it's better that a lot of women and children die as 'collateral damage' than any 'brave' American soldier ...

I know I'm weird, but I've got a problem with this.
