Well that is an interesting read. Thank you.

The part the non-profit organizations and Foundations play in American politics is secret. We'd probably be horrified if we knew. Back when Reagan was president there was a congressman (can't remember his name) who was also the President of the John Birch Society at the time. He was spearheading the drive in Congress to start hearings on the un-American activities of private Foundations and non-profit organizations. It looked like the hearings were going to actually take place. But that airliner was shot down when it for some reason wandered into Russian air space on it's way to Korea. remember that? Guess who was on that airliner bound for Korea? Yes, the congressman. And the hearings in congress never happened. So the foundations were not exposed.

The study I have been linking you to does have a strong Libertarian slant to it. I see that Koch is a Libertarian himself. Libertarians believe government should get out of people's lives. And I think the same thing. I don't know about Koch though. Rich men usually want more and more. I would not categorize the study itself as "dangerous" or "right wing". In fact, the study sounds like it could have been written by a liberal democrat concerned with civil liberties. It is probably not that popular among some Republicans or Democrats. The ones who think government is good and should know everything including what kind of toilet paper you use. It all makes more and more sense to me the more I read. I see the government creeping into my every orifice taking over my life.
