Dood, given that Chaney used to work for Halliburton, an AMERICAN oil services co, I doubt there is a single US company which could do the job to which he would not have some connection.

So what's the government supposed to do, give the contract to a French company? (Can't do that, cuz we need the fires put out, not just fanned.)
