Yes, all bad news, esp 308,000 more lost jobs in one month alone. Everything we had 2-8 years ago is going down the tubes. Like a complete reversal of fortune. And it's time to quit blaming Osama, Clinton, a bubble-burst or whatever.

Bush needs to rescind his tax cuts for the rich and replace them with temporary stimulus and jobs growth program aimed at consumers and small business. Some deficit will be needed but I can see 5 trillion debt if Bush gets re-elected and this continues, by the end of a second term. Hoping the 2nd term never happens but you never know.

The markets will respond once Bush like his father realizes that he has to change with the times. His old trickle-down theories have the opposite effect in today's economy. It's also time for Bush to try and avoid war and save 200 billion there, but keep the pressure on Saddam. Unfortunately, I dont expect Bush will do either.
