rambler- your ears must have been burning last night. i was 'caressing' my abalone shell and watching the different colours reflect in the light and said to anyone that would listen, "rambler hasn't been around for a while". and someone was listening and said, "well, hadn't you better drop him a line?". you beat me to it. i went to a funeral mass today and have not felt like talking - don't laugh - it happens <g>. i don't want to talk politics here either and won't from now on. scouts honour. this is just too nice a place, right? hoser

Hey Dalin. Glad to see you are still around. I'll try to keep the politics stuff out of my head. I hate the topic. Makes me ill. Especially after I find myself arguing vehemently over a topic I hate. Sorta makes me feel all sick inside. I'm going to try to remember to leave the arguing for others to do and just ride along with whatever happens. At least I'll feel less stressed. Seems every thread has caught the disease. (Except for Lost1's music thread. That place is a refuge.) How's your trading going? You reading charts and everything now? The market is acting stranger than normal. I'm pulling out of my trades and plan on sitting on cash until this thing breaks one way of the other. Right now it seems more of a guessing game than anything else. At least until the war breaks. Friggin rumors keep killing my trades. I was sitting pretty with some puts until CNBC said something about Bin Ladden's sons getting captured... It's hard to make much out of the low volume volatility. It's also hard to sit and watch my few gold miner shares deteriorate slowly. I've also been shorting Walmart but the darn thing doesn't want to keel over. I nailed it at the high the other week but it won't drop any further. Thinking of bailing. Every time I think it's going to break down it pops back up. What stocks have you been playing? Day trading them? I have trouble following Zeev's thread because so many messages fly up there by the time I get back to my desk there's 300 messages about buying and selling that I don't bother. Luckily Lurqerdude posts some of the good stuff here. Is Zeev still looking for a Nasacre or is that on hold now. I can't keep up. I wish someone would start a thread that keeps track of his intermediate term calls. Sell your boat yet? Maybe you will get a few nice trades and you can keep her. Hope so. Someday I'd like to get a ride in it... Pop in more often. I'm always pouring. -Barkeep
