Watching Russert on CNBC. Guest Tom Friedman. Worth seeing, even though I've seen many of the ideas before. Most important idea that was new for me was the occupation will require at a minimum of 200,000 troops for five years. My reaction is twofold. One is the expense. We have the military for a hegemony, but we don't have the economy. Two is the vulnerability. That's a lot of bull's-eyes. I remember the marines in Beirut. I fear for my country. lurqer
