Its a good thing.

If we are going to kick ass....best to draw all our enemies into the open and dispense with all of them at once....

I don't discount the possibility that this could turn into a multinational war. There's one message that's spreading loud and clear worldwide: No matter what is done, no matter what is said, no matter how hard some other nation attempts to mediate, no matter how great does the truth become butchered by those wanting to prosecute this war--the Bush Administration has neither the mind, heart nor soul for diplomacy or the patience required to understand the world's desperate pleas.

The war in the region is about to begin. And those within the region have to be thinking that Iraq may not be the only target. So there's fear beyond the borders of Iraq.

Thus, I sincerely fear--and I don't hear anyone talking about this--the possibility that once the march toward Baghdad begins, the trumpets could sound in other Arab nations to come to Saddam's support.

All indications seem to point that Bush is expecting a war only against Iraq. But the question is a begging one: What if America knocks out Iraq, gets its strong foothold in Iraq, begins building military bases and bringing in troops to number 600,000 or more? At this point, all would be hopeless for Iran, for Syria and maybe even Saudi Arabia or Jordan should the Americans continue their march.

Could it become possible that the US and British forces could become overun by multiple Arab nationalities while sitting in the desert, Baghdad encircled? My fear is America may have prepped to take over Baghdad, but maybe hasn't planned for taking on four or five Arab nations at once.

This would mean a nuclear disaster and America hated by the rest of the world forever. It's one thing to try out a new bomb to end a war; it's quite another to use the tragedy of the sophistication of such a bomb at the beginning of one. Indeed, America would find no good history and Bush would be relegated to the worst leader ever on earth, destined to be buried, when he dies, with the souls of others hovering over his casket, and haunted with those same souls during his entire lifetime.
