..... the U.S. public thinks this "war" is going to last a week. That is IF it thinks about it. Dubya certainly must know that if a land invasion occurs, it's going to be a mess. The U.S. public's tolerance for a mess (since Vietnam) is zilch.

The only way there can be a "war" and not have it be a mess if for inhumane bombing. In that regard, without a second U.N. resolution, the U.S. will look like a criminal state.

Dubya has been snookered. There's no way out for him now. He might as well declare victory and bring the troops home. I've never seen a person get himself into more a jam. He simply didn't think this one out at all.
