Why? Because what they'll be drinking is water filled with blood.

Pardon me?? Could you please explain why there are currently over 3 million Iraqi refugees who have fled the country who's families have ALREADY been drenched in blood?

Geezus PT... it's not like we're overthrowing a democratically elected government here.. This is a BRUTAL DICTATOR who rules the country with an iron fist.

The Tigris and Eurphrates Rivers have been flowing with Iraqi blood since the day Saddam came to power...

I have no illusions about whether the Arab world can readily accept democracy. HOWEVER, I do believe there is potential for parliamentarian monarchy, such as exists in Jordan...

But if there is any nation that can handle democracy, it's Iraq.. If only due to the secular society that has been imposed upon them by the Baathists, who have little love for Islamic militancy..

And I doubt there will be nearly the number of casualties this time around for the Iraqi military as there was during Desert Storm (when some 80,000 are estimated to have died).
