I cannot conceptualize how a suicide bomber can strap all that death on their body and ...... but they do it IMO, it starts by having such a low view of yourself that death is a reasonable alternative. In a sense, you feel you are such a piece of crap, you deserve to die. Living a life feeling this way about yourself is almost worse than death. That's how many Depressives feel immediately prior to suicide. Add anger and hatred to the mix and you have a paranoid, antisocial, brain-washed person who not only hates himself but a host of others on whom he blames his plight. His own destruction and those of others thus serves to release him from his self hatred while simultaneously exacting vengeance on those he most despises. Just IMO. Of course being brainwashed from early childhood that a martyr's death guarantees eternal bliss is just the icing on the cake for a person whose life on earth feels like an eternal hell. best... LIG
