(Fundi news warning) Patron- Maybe I'm playing for debating pts. here...and believe me, I hear what you are saying, but preceeding the launch in Sept/Oct. 2001...there was pretty good down for 4-5 days after Sept. 11..that was wiggle playable fer sure..

I am not advocating heavy position (short) but I think it is playable in next week...if the idea is we launch once we do well in war/or after war starts, I reckon we head down before that..

I'll give you this: If we don't head down Monday/Tuesday (we just waffle around) then I will cover small short and step aside...I think (for bears) Monday/Tuesday almost have to be down for short-term (week) wiggle trade (down) to play out..because it so painfully clear now that (1) we are going to war (2) U.S. doesn't have votes in U.N.- and we've reached end of the resolution road. (Tuesday vote is meaningless, if takes place). If Tuesday's vote doesn't get sold pre-Tuesday, then I'm out..

I'd think a whip would be good for Max-Pain too (hard down/hard up)...but maybe irrelevant this go round..

Final point, given the whips of last few weeks, I actually think shorts are not as "heels in" here as some past rallies, and war rally won't be stellar (although I guess wave-wise, it could be the brother to move off Oct., and that would be BK rally, and beautiful short set-up thereafter).

Place yer bets..
