Let NATO in shambles, demoralized the UN, made the US diplomacy look inept, raised half of the world against the US and, now for the killing, made the US spend a lot of money in the showdown. Then Saddam will say that to avoid the civil population of his beloved country be blown to smithereens by the Americans he will resign and the troops will be pulled out.
