A Tiny, Unelected Group Glad you saw the Friedman interview. Also, from that interview was the comment that some 25 people are responsible for this war. I'm currently building the following table Source Position Troops Duration ? army chief of staff 400,000 10 years Gen. Eric K. Shinseki army chief of staff 200,000 5 years The second line in the table is from post 14222 and the Friedman interview last night. The first line is from post 14219. I would like the source for this estimate and another reference. Any estimates that you see, please pass in my direction. lurqer
