it appears that it is using some 800k per quarter. Extrapolate that and after 7 or 8 quarters (if the usage is not trimmed by then) zero level is reached. That should be visible around November 2004.

The pace slowed a bit recently, compared to earlier quarters.

What is certain, however, is that H-P's success in getting a patent issued for this LCD replacement has little correlation to REFR ever posting a positive EPS figure on their income statement.

Not when the replacement is REFR's proprietary SPD technology. That will have a HUGE impact on future revenues.
