Many of the multi-national oil companies get around US taxes. Cheney's Halliburton for instance has 94 accounts in the Cayman islands. SO we the tax-payers and our brave soldiers pay and shed blood to free Iraq, then the oil companies grab the sweetheart deals, make trillions and how much comes back to us? very little probably. There could be other benefits but who knows now? A very risky situation no matter which way you look at it.

John Kerry is for an aggressive policy of rooting out offshore tax evaders. Hundreds of billions of US taxes are not being paid and now we have multi trillion dollar deficits projected.
