Melt here too although it's supposed to be cold all week. Yeah I brought in some more firewood yesterday. I got the ol' wood stove kicking out some heat last night. I was surprised to feel the chill in the basement but figured the cold air might be coming in with the draft under the door that leads to the garage. Then this morning it was much colder down here. It was odd that after a long night it would be this chilly. I checked the garage. Maybe the door was open. Nope. I began scratching my head. I peeked through the blinds at all the windows. Finally I found the source of the cold air. Apparently the boys figured the window should be wide opened. Why? Oh I don't know. Maybe because it was wide closed? Anyhow, I figured out why I heard my oil burner was working overtime this morning... Now I'm just trying to figure out which day they opened it. Its been feeling a bit drafty down here for a few days now... My oil man sure will be happy this month. -MrFreeze
