re: You are, in the vernacular, "flogging a dead horse".

Well, that "dead horse" has corrected every error in their web site that I pointed out. So, SOMEBODY at FSTW must agree that there is value in correctly spelled words.

I wonder if Albert Einstein would have used a spell checker if it had been available in his day? If, as you say, he had "a devil of a time spelling words correctly", I'd guess that indicates he cared enough to realize that his spelling was atrocious.

Frankly, I don't care whether they "see eye to eye" with me or not. I know quality when I see it. It's their own corporate and personal image they're mucking with. They can be sloppy if they want to. If they don't care enough to double check their work, that says something loud and clear to me. The few seconds that it takes to spell check an article should be worth the effort to them.

If you think it's OK that they select areas where to focus their quality efforts, good for you. You're entitled to your opinion. I disagree. A company is made up of several component parts. The attitude of quality should permeate the entire organization.

I've been part owner of this company for probably 60 of the last 65 months. I'm entitled to air my concerns.
