As far as I'm concerned its got nothing to do with patriotism. I'm more concerned with survival of my family. Hell I'm scared of Nukes. I didn't vote for Bush either. Since 9/11 I really don't give a shit who we have to slap around. I have a wife and 4 kids, we live within 20 miles of NYC. No offense, but its probably a lot easier to be pragmatic about the whole Saddam thing when your kids aren't a potential target. I didn't pick a fight with these Muslim creeps. Until 9/11, I actually was quite sympathetic towards the Palestinian struggle. No more, F em all. Us against them. Funny how your opinion changes when you are planning escape plans with your wife and you are in the firing line. Most people have no idea what kind of fear NYC was in after the Towers were hit.

At another time I'd probably be right there with you and WFG complaining about the constitutional violations and such. Don't you think I laugh when Bush sits there pounding the table saying shit like "axis of Evil" and "evil doers"? He is just a figurehead for the Wolfowitz guys. And our enemies couldn't have picked a worse group of thugs to start with.

bsb, there's ton's of them ... Masters of War and God on our Side are two more that come to mind, also that one where if his thought-dreams could be seen they'd probably have put his head in a guillotine.

He seems to have had the same problem as me understanding it all ... <vbg>
