Which can be dangerous if he's not willing to change his mind based on the submission of new evidence or changing of the situation.

I cannot conceive of a "submission of new evidence" or "changing of the situation" that would affect the righteousness of the cause.

I suppose if evidence were presented that Saddam was, in fact, a nice guy ... but I don't see that happening....

Zo Re..For instance, if I own a business, and there's a market for my product, and suddenly my market disappears and I just keep trying to sell my product the same way, am I noble, or a moron?

Frankly, standing up for your principles is different from standing up for a product. GW's big danger in standing up for his principles in Iraq, will come if we don't find any evidence of WMD in Iraq. What if Saddam is telling the truth. However, if they find evidence of WMD, or a secret nuclear program, GW will win big time, and the dems will lose big. And the stars will go back to their drugs and lousy movies.
