No I haven't followed the Kuwaiti stock exchange, but I do notice the NYSE fall every time Bush opens his _____ mouth!

So?? It will do fine, just as it did after the last gulf war.. The backbone of OPEC will be broken, there will be a new sense of economic and social order in the middle east, and we'll likely see within several years, the creation of a Palestinian state WITHOUT Arafat..

It also has something to do with the trade deficit, where the rest of the world has been attempting to export their way to economic recovery (at the expense of the US), and not having anything worthwhile to do with the dollars we paid them.. So they invested in US T-Bills and Equities...

So for those American smart enough to sell out during the recent stock market bubble (partially driven by the fall of the Asian Tigers and declining Euro), they will have an opportunity to buy back in around 5600-6000 on the DOW, or 650-700 on the S&P..

The Nasdaq is probably closer to a bottom than the other indices, but it will have some serious consolidation to endure for the next year or so..
