If you had read my posts I had stated that abortion is immoral. Of course you say it is immoral. You say this because know it in fact is immoral. But what you hope to achieve by saying this is the fantasy that you can support abortion while not supporting it. Semantics will not wash your hands. The hands are just as filthy. You should applaud anything that reduces abortion rated instead of demeaning their value. Anything? That certainly is not true. We ought not support anything. Some things are not expedient, even if they help solve a problem. They may well cause other problems. For the same reason many teens refuse to remain sexually abstinent until reaching greater maturity, they do not properly use condoms. They are immature and require a social structure that protects them from themselves. So when you throw condoms at them, many may engage in sex with greater frequency, sometimes using the condoms, oftentimes not. And there is your rapid increase in AIDS amongst teens. could be that fewer doctors are performing abortions because the demand is down. Could be. So then maybe the fokes at NOW and Planned Parenthood should stop whining against pro-lifers on this point. (grin)
