What Josh, you, John, et al don't get is that the "World security system" that is being talked about became a "House of Cards" when the Soviet Empire collapsed. You are referring to the UN and NATO here? Giving you the benefit of the doubt, and assuming that this collapse was inevitable, it follows that new alliances will emerge. Do you think that alienating our traditional allies and putting the leaders of our few remaining friends on the political hotseat is the best way to accomplish a new global security apparatus?
