I disagree -- "that the US is far too confident that they can prevent another major terrorist attack on their soil". I don't think we're confidant about this at all. Sure we know this will reduce the chances, but we also KNOW that if nothing is done, someday we (or our children or grandchildren) will be faced with the certainty. As horrible as war is, I'd rather it was done at a time when there will be less overall suffering by all people -- I agree with you on the "I pray" tho. Although my prayer is for a quick and short action -- and that the repair, then return to the people of Iraq be relatively quick.
