Clapper,

<It was completely silent even while flapping its wings.>

Great word picture. Getting up early for hockey practice this winter, I always see Venus in the eastern sky; it has become a companion.

Owls are beautiful silent fliers because they are 95% feathers. They can glide and weave their way through the trees without making a sound. That must have been quite a sight for you and the Duffinator.

morning clappy-

reading your stories is like going
on your morning walks with you (without
the effort). don't stop.

we had an owl stop for a rest on our
arbour last fall but sadly she didn't
stay. but the chickadees and finches
and sparrows are all busy staking out
their territories. listening to them
makes you feel just fine. <s>

here's a flower story for you:

cp.org

have a nice day everyone. live it as
if it were your last, and make someone
smile.

:)
