Cuts in expenses and costs have been so dramatic that a
little bit of revenue growth may translate into much bigger
profits than analysts can currently see.

Yea, but will the skeleton staffs remaining be able to handle even a little bit of growth? Are they even able to manage the reduced workload they are left with?

RE: << NYT -- Steve Leuthold / bear market may be on its last legs >>>

This guy is buying Technology and saying lots of investors are wiped out from the markets for 10 years. He specifically points out Cisco, FFIV and Foundry. These companies are still trading at over 3X sales in a mature industry. Even if there is 15% growth, they can't stand on their own. Personally, I think they are setup for good shorts. Lots of insider selling while institutions are holding it up by buying. When the buying stalls or stops, down is the only direction.
