I agree. We give a lot of saleable stuff to the thrift shop.

I remember one day we dropped off a load from closing my office, including a nice desk, and before we had finished unloading the truck it was already sold. So at least some of the stuff makes good money for our volunteer fire department, which deserves all the help they can get. There are a lot fewer volunteer fire departments than there used to be, and not many that are as good as ours.
