Ken Lay is the most obvious big-time perp in the corporate and energy scandal world. Aside from taking the 5th in fornt of Congress, the man has not been brought up on any charges.

Any honest Administration would be AFTER this guy big-time. He cost Enron employees and investors tens of billions and his company were #1 in engineering the phony energy crisis which cost consumers about 100 billion.

It is amazing that the Feds go after Martha Stewart and leave Ken Lay pretty much alone. I say the fix is in and that Lay is blackmailing the Feds and Bush White House, his big lawyer telling them "come after us and we will talk". The last thing Bush wants is a Ken Lay Enron trial and Lay his #1 contributor and crony talking. Would make Whitewater look like a jaywalking offence.
