Having seen some large green fireballs, they can be spectacular. A couple of random thoughts provoked by the weekend news. First, if Hans Blix really wanted to belittle the glider that was discovered, wouldn't he have simple played it down in some "off the cuff" verbal remarks in his testimony. To attempt to hide a "smoking gun" in the written document is the perfect way to create a cause celebre. Second, if Bin Luddite is cornered, the attempt to capture is a delicate matter. He's already proclaimed he will not be taken alive. We have the perfect conditions for creating a martyrdom story that may make him a bigger threat in death than life. This is a juncture for some judicious care to be taken so as to not exacerbate a potential problem. You want to make him look foolish, not heroic. lurqer
