No bottom in sight for the markets that I see.
To get them going again, two things would have to happen. Bush would have to talk peace (from now on) and admit his backloaded tax cuts esp for the very rich were not a good idea anyway. Nobody likes taxes but those tax cuts have really been queering our economy. The markets hate gigantic debt. And I guess the dividend tax cut idea failed to stimulate the markets as planned. So who needs it?
