Michael,

I can only share an opinion, or a perspective which may differ from others. So please, take it for what it's worth. The analysis is free. <g>

The time frame in which you wish to hold the position should dictate which chart you look at. Unless you are trading intraday, 2-3 trades during the session, the charts are meaningless to you, with this particular time frame.

The longer term charts always have priority until something drastic or fundamentally sound occurs.

In the case of RRI, you had bad news and a sell off. The last hour of trading provided some "hope" for those who took a hit. The problem with this type of "hope" is that it hasn't allowed a second wave of selling to occur yet. Those who got caught by surprise, may want to sell on what little bit of strength may appear in the next day or two.

The daily chart is suggesting we may see further downside. The longer term indicators are showing a bearish trend developing. This could change quickly, but as I have mentioned on "MANY" occasions, it's usually best to wait and buy as the price is rising, as opposed to trying to catch a bottom.

The glass isn't half full or half empty. It's merely at the half-way mark! How's that for a proper perspective? <g>

When you decide what your time frame is, start focusing on that particular chart for clues.
