I don't support hate crime laws, but I was asking Solon about how they are applied in Canada. Do you have any information about prosecutions under these laws in Canada?

You're on the right side of the issue.

There's a vast difference between hate crimes, which are illegal in both the US and Canada and should be, and hate speech, which is legal in the US but illegal in Canada.

it's one reason I prefer our First Amendment approach.
