I'm not really trying to make a compelling case for anything. The minds of most of the other people here are made up- I basically post one liners and short posts to attempt to fish for information which I can use to make my own decisions. Why make a decision at all? It might appear that I am firm in my position but in reality, I am not. Its ironic......its the fervent drum beating by the Bush supporters on this thread that pushes me to lock in a position. I would prefer to keep an open mind. However, I have never seen a group of people so ready to see war as a solution, and they will spit, call you names, denigrate whomever to get you to agree. Its their vehemence along with Bush's that makes me question their motivations. I wonder of what they really are afraid. ted

Zo Re..True. There's really no reason to believe me, and honestly, it really doesn't matter. Thats odd, now I believe you. I'm not really trying to make a compelling case for anything. Why not. Isn't that why most of us are here. To impress every one else with the strength of our arguments, thereby feeding our egos. Which is also why no one backs down, because to back down, means you aren't as smart as you think you are. Actually, I have backed down so often, I have decided to admit I am an idiot, and quit trying to prove myself. Now I am just trying to prove that everyone else is in the same boat.
