Excuse me, but Bush has squandered almost an entire year on Iraq. And invading and managing post-war Iraq may take another year or two or three.

You may think Iraq is the most important issue on earth, but I dont and most Americans put Saddam way down the list of priorities after THE ECONOMY (stupid), terrorism (No that doesn't include Saddam), health care, Education, prescription drugs, the environment and North Korea, all issues Bush has not only largely ignored, but has made worse for us.

Okay he has put forward a prescription drugs plan, but thanks to the plummeting economy, tax cuts, war and deficits we cant even afford it anymore unless Bush were to thoroughly rearrange his priorities.

This is what I mean by Bush fiddling while our country burns. Not literally of course, but he couldn't have done a worse job on the economy if he had tried, and replacing his economic team has not slowed the descent one bit. In fact this Snow I think is worse than O'Neil. If that's possible. But no matter who the cabinet is, they dont seem to have any power to dissent anyway. WHo knows who's really in charge of our economy. Anyone? Some right-wing think tank somewhere? same with our foreign policy. One wonders who thinks these ideas (or lack thereof) up. But whomever does it is GW's fault. The buck stops there.
