Given the current price for silver, there are not too many good silver candidates. We need to find prospects that have a chance to eventually come up with economic silver deposits that will produce silver at prices at least below $3.00 and ideally much less.

I see Cardero as probably the best proposition. If they confirm their expectations, their costs could be near $1 if not lower.

Ima Exploration has also something very intriguing at Navidad with these super high grade samples. But it is too early to talk about a deposit there.

Tumi also make sense but it is less obvious they will develop something that will make it below $3 ounce.

Current producers are getting hammered, so maybe some bargains will show. But none of them are making big money with current metal prices. CDE has improved its balance sheet big time in recent years and has something very profitable in Argentina. I am watching it but would not buy it (or other producers) until silver move aboive $4.92.
