Gee aren't you the same Secular Bull who wrote:

I personally do not give much credit to the effect that the President has on the economy in the short term, and his effects longer term are usually limited by his term in office.

The fact is Reagan left Bush Sr. with a 3 times more severe recession than Clinton left this Bush. And Reagan left huge deficits. Clinton left office with budget surpluses and surpluses projected into the future according to the Republican CBO.

Reagan left higher interest rates, inflation, and unemployment, and the Reagan expansion was shorter and less robust than the Clinton expansion.

Isn't it absurd to blame a President for the fact that record breaking expansions end? Did you think it wouldn't?
