So the accusation that Germany is opposing the war because of business interest with Iraq doesn't hold as I believe the trade between US/Germany would be much more than that with Iraq.

I am not making that relationship. I am just pointing out that our oil consumption like the rest of our economy is linked to other countries in a very big way.

Yes, the US consumes a large amounts of oil, it also consumes a large amount of automobiles, cell phones, computers, stereos, TVs, dvds, etc. All of which help other countries' economies. We import a hell of a lot of stuff!

I am out of the Iraqi debate. You have your opinions and I have mine. No sense in beating our heads over it anymore.
