Gardening is one of the most rewarding activities in existence far more rewarding then watching little numbers change on a screen day in and day out.

I don't know about vegetables though, too many pests to fight off.

I do flowers, never tried selling them but the guys at the farmers market tell me there's more profit in flowers then vegetables.

I do know a guy who made about 18k a year selling designer greens to local resorts. He had the world's smallest plot on a hill side in West Virginia and probably the highest return per square foot of any farmer in West Va. that was selling legal produce.
