Nope, he's just as oppressive. But times have changed, the middle east conflict has moved to the US. ie 9/11.

And about the forgeries. What do I know, someone somewhere sold them as originals, and I believe it is in the realm of possibilities that the sellers were Iraqis. A spy society sting so to speak. Why not?
