True. I am yet to see a serious analysis of how invading Iraq is in the interests of Americans in the medium/long run.

Exiled or refugee Iraqis support the war, too. But who cares, they don't count for anything. Nor that the Iraqi people may pine to be set free of a murdering despot is also of no consideration. Propping up the status quo is the easiest and deadliest course of action for the faceless masses in Iraq. It seems they count last in this geopolitical equation.
