Ted, <The confederate flag stood for civil disobedience to the Republic, secession and slavery. What part of "this should not be a symbol of pride and heritage" do you not get?>

The part about why it's OK that your view of the Confederate Flag supercedes those of Southerners who view it differently.

I see......so when Germans decide to hang the swastika outside their house in a wave of nostalgia, I should stay quiet and let them have their fun. Right!

Personally, I think the Confederate Flag is an anachronism, a sign that the South still thinks the "War of Northern Aggression" is still on. Obviously, your tone suggests that you are more intolerant of the Confederate Flag than I am. That's ironic, considering how liberals think of themselves as "champions of tolerance."

I don't support negative icons.......I thought you didn't either.
