The French and Russian announcements that they will use their vetoes at the United Nations Security Council spell diplomatic disaster for the American and British effort to get a second resolution. If the veto is used, there will simply be no resolution.

Jacob...Would you mind linking one or two of those methods you think would work to remove Saddam without war? I truly am trying to understand how you think the way you do.

Is it black and white, or several shades of grey?

Saddam is there as a "101% elected official. We just can't go in and kill him without declaring war.

He has murdered well over 1,0 0 0, 0 0 0 people and tortured who knows how many millions more.

Do we as world citizens, continue to just stand by and let him do it?

The UN seems to be a paper kitty, and a debating society, with no teeth in their 17 Resolutions.

So IF we stand down, and back away, two things seem apparent to me. Saddam will continue on funding terrorism around the planet, including more for the US and our allies. He will also continue murdering his own people and others.

IMO, ANY leader of ANY country in the world who continues to do business with Iraq, and continues to support him in any way, is supporting him to continue on his murderous ways with absolutely no consequences.

Therefore, Hitler's image stands with Saddam. There were many who supported Hitler as well.

>>>>>>>>I for one, have posted long detailed descriptions, of what I see as the correct methods to remove evil people from power. <<<<<
