stone house is pretty -- when was it built?

It was a stone shell when I first moved here, no roof, no windows, it's been derelict for 20 years or more. The renovation was done in the last year. I estimate the original shell is 100 to 150 years old. It's within spitting distance of the old North Central Trail which was put on a rail bed that went from Baltimore to York, PA. So I assume it was built around the same time that the railroad was. Every time I used to pass that shell I'd say to my husband, "That could be a terrific house." and he'd say, "A lot of work, a LOT of work." I was so bummed when someone came along and did exactly what we could have done. Although, I have to admit they're doing a better job then we would have.
