Its interesting that the liberals among us oppose a moral case for war and in effect support a dictator.

a baldfaced falsehood treading very close to the line, John Cavanaugh.

Let me see if I've lost my moral compass. Saddam Hussein has caused the deaths, rape, torture of hundreds of thousands of people. He continues to do so. His government has attacked Iraq's neighbours. He continues to seek WMDs and has chemical and biological weapons, which he has used against his own people. He supports terrorists abroad. A recent survey suggests Iraqis yearn for the US to invade and put the whole wretched bunch out of business.

Opposing an attack on Hussein and his government is a morally good thing? Every day the regime continues Iraq people are murdered, tortured and raped.

Opposing an attack on Hussein is not support for him and his regime? He says he takes heart from it and I expect he does.
