Jacob,

So Rwanda was ok? We should have stayed out of Kosovo (after all the UNSC said no)?

Define 'Multilateral'?

If it means 'must include France', maybe thats why Madeleine Albright kept us out of Rwanda.

Consistency in action must begin somewhere. Your argument about our past inconsistency is counter-productive to a discussion on what we should do now.

You seem to agree with me on the need for morality in FP, but then hold Reagan's or his fathers actions against GWB in his attempt to lay out a moral case for war.

If we are to get into that, no one can escape their party's past. The Democrats got us involved in Vietnam, Korea and both World Wars. From that angle at least the Republicans have picked fights we can win easily (ok maybe Abraham Lincoln was their bad boy).
