We will only need that many troops if the Iraqui's do not embrace freedom. If that were to happen we would probably wish we had never gone, but that is not expected to be the result. We will need enough troops to insure the orderly transition to a govt of their choice including ALL IRAQUI's after that, I suspect they are perfectly capable of carrying on on their own. jdn
