I think it may not say we are in a mania, but it does say that there's still a lot of buy-and-hope going on.

Once that floor falls off from under the little guys' feet (there's an article at www.zealllc.com dated March 07 or March 08 that shows that all the enthusiasm is from the little guys -- the big folks are short the Nasdaq big time), I think Nasdaq will cease to be a viable market. At best, it will become a marginal entity like the AMEX index is now.
