Tiger-- IMO, Bush has painted himself into a corner, and he was trapped by the false perceptions encouraged by france, Germany, and Russia. I agree that there is a weak case, at best, for an imminent invasion. If Bush does this unilaterally, he will marginalize an organization that should be central to international law, the UN. However, IMO, we are left with a tyrant who is conducting war against Iraqis and an organization, the UN, which doesn't seem to give a rat's ass.

It is well known that children love playing parents against each other and are sensitive to playing the seams. That is a traditional manner of extending violations. The french, Germans, and Russians are advertising the seams, IMO. Meanwhile, tyranny reigns unabated.
