Men never, never get described the way you just did. Women habitually are. When men show the exact same kinds and degrees of emotionalism, the reasons are typically externalized (he's dealing forcefully with his opponents). With women, the reasons are typically given as internal (she's weak, emotional; or she's a bitch).

I would suggest, that rather than look to her uterus as the cause, maybe it's because her career was just destroyed, and she was forced to be the "fall guy", in a very public way, for the mistakes and indecision of others. You're criticizing her for not wearing make-up to her crucifixion.
